Ready for your new job adventure?

Get your medical license

If you are looking to become a healthcare professional in Dubai, you must first acquire a medical license.

There are two licensing bodies in Dubai responsible for issuing licenses for healthcare professionals – Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Health Care City (DHCC). The majority of Dubai is covered by the DHA and the Free Zone area called Health Care City is covered by the DHCC. The DHA is a government organization overseeing the health system of Dubai. It is responsible for licensing and regulating medical professionals practicing in the emirate.

If you are a doctor, dentist, nurse, midwife, allied health professional or alternative medicine professional you will need to get licensed in Dubai through the DHA in order to be able to secure a job. The DHCC has very similar licensing requirements as the DHA.

You as the candidate will be responsible for providing the required documents and paying the fees for applying and acquiring the license and the team at Cassia will assist you throughout the entire application process.

Healthcare professionals require their general medical education taken in one of the World Health Organization (WHO) or the International Medical Education Directory (IMED) accredited universities.

As a first step, please submit your CV and relevant educational certificates and we will gladly review your profile and assess whether or not you are eligible to receive a medical license.
